​I am selling these T-shirts & Merch to promote and get funding for the movie 80's Babies. Which is a movie about five urban friends in Brooklyn, 1980s. The most violent crime era in New York City's history.

80's babies official T-shirts represents the 8O's Babies movie which follows the five friends from childhood to adulthood navigating vintage loyalty, survival, and the streets of Brooklyn during one of the deadliest chapters in the city's history. This isn't a story pulled from headlines or research — it's the story of there environment, the environment that raised them, and the choices that came with growing up in it. Every design carries a piece of the film's world. Wearing it supports an independent story getting told the way it actually happened. These  T-shirts is more than merch- it's a piece of the story, worn before the credits even roll.

WHY THIS STORY

​I grew up in Brooklyn in the 1980s, during what became the most violent crime era in New York's history. 8O's Babies isn't a story I researched. It's a story I watched happen around me, it was the neighborhood I walked through everyday, the people I knew who lived through it — friends, neighbors, people whose stories that never made it to screen, and one I've carried ever since. This is my chance to finally tell it.

80's Babies follows five friends navigating that world together. it's based on actual events on what I actually saw: the vintage loyalty, the fear, the humor people found anyway, and the toll the city took on the people who lived through it.

 

This film exist because that story deserves to be told right - by someone who was actually there.

 

THE FILMMAKER

Sheldon is a Writer/Director with over 20 years of experience and the Writer/Producer/Director of several films like Psychosis, Wheel Love, Washed Ashore, etc. 8O's Babies is his first feature film — a story he's carried since childhood, now ready to be told.
